CANCELLATION POLICY

Individual cancellations: Cancellations for individual bookings made more than 7 days before your scheduled arrival have no charge. For cancellations made with 7 or fewer days left before your arrival date, your credit card will be charged for one night.

Group reservations: We require a 25% deposit to confirm group reservations that book all the rooms. The deposit is fully refundable for cancellations made more than 2 months in advance; cancellations made less than 2 months but more than 15 days before the scheduled arrival, receive a credit valid for 12 months toward a future reservation; and cancellations made 15 days or fewer before arrival date are not eligible for a refund or credit.

CHILDREN

Children of all ages are welcome (we have two young ones!) in the standard rooms. No children permitted in the suite.
Children 5 and under can stay for free in existing beds. We have one crib available.
Children 6 and older incur a charge of $200 pesos per night.

EXTRA GUESTS

The quoted room prices are for 2 adults. Each additional adult is $350 pesos per night. We do not allow more than 4 guests per room. Only 2 adults are permitted in the suite.

INTERNET

WIFI is available throughout the hotel and is free of charge.

BREAKFAST

Breakfast is available from 8:30 until 10:00am in the kitchen & dining space. It typically includes homemade granola, fresh hardboiled eggs from our chickens, fresh fruit, yogurt, pan dulce, and organic Oaxacan coffee roasted at the house.

PARKING

Free private parking is available.

PETS

Unfortunately, we cannot allow pets.

NO SMOKING

Smoking is not allowed anywhere on the property.

TEMAZCAL

Temazcal sessions are separate and not included with room reservations. They must be booked at least 24 hours in advance.

AIRPORT & CITY TRANSPORTATION

Transportation from the airport to the house can be a bit tricky because Oaxaca Airport does not allow non-airpot taxis to pick up passengers. You can take the official airport taxi directly to the house, which was around $1,750 pesos the last time we checked (prices may vary). Another option is to take the shared shuttle to a drop-off point in Oaxaca City. From there, our trusted driver from Mitla can meet you and bring you to the house. Please let us know in advance if you’d like this option.

For departures, the rules are different: the airport allows all vehicles, including private taxis, to drop off passengers. So we can arrange transportation from the house to the airport. We can also arrange transportation to Oaxaca City.
